I'm totally stoked to see you in a few
weeks, but I'm here to set the record
straight. This girl did not break my
heart, I already knew she was leaving
when I saw the black car in the
driveway. Remember, we had a deal.
Those of you lucky enough or unlucky
enough to know this girl know that once
you love her, you'll always love her.
She gets under your skin, gives you
shit, makes you a better person. She
has faith in you, probably more than
you've ever will have in yourself. And
if she ever gets really quiet it's
because she's sad...but if you really
want to know what goes on in that head
of hers you've got to get ahold of her
blog...(sorry, I had to do it) Don't
forget your racket, clubs, and of
course, Lilly....

Janielle's a class act, she does
everything first class. The most
remarkable thing about her is that she
would give everything up in a heartbeat
without even blinking. I still haven't
forgiven her for selling out and moving
to L.A., we were supposed to be the
biggest assholes in the I-banking
world, now I'm left to carry the torch
alone. Great sense of humor, beautiful,
and a laugh that will forever stick
with you. She broke my best friend's
heart without missing a beat and left
me to pick up the pieces. Great style,
but be careful, she'll put your collar
up and guys, if you wear pink she'll
love you. Rumor has it that she's in
MENSA so kids, she's smarter than she
looks. My money's on her in any verbal
argument. You always know where you
stand with Janielle, but don't worry
she isn't nearly as tough as she seems,
she's just real. Overall a wondeful
girl...oh and she's got a great ass,
too.

My little partner in crime, we
have nothing in common. Yet,
like Paula Abdul once sang while dancing
on rooftops with a cartoon
cat, 'Opposites Attract'. I can't
recall first meeting Ms. Brubaker - I
think it involved a
snide remark towards my Gap jeans - but
her presence in our
Shakespeare seminar made my semester! A
presentation about
flaming, go-go dancing homosexuals in
glitter and feathers really sticks with
you. And all those nights shredding
apart those that
either annoyed us or broke our
widdle-piddle hearts. And I vow
to you friendsters lucky
enough to be 3-degrees of me that I
shall CRASH Janielle's wedding
(definitely the first two, I may have to
skip the third for predictability
reasons), because my
invitation
shall be 'lost' in the mail, with my
dress firmly
crushed in my pantyhose, drunk as a
southern baptist, and bursting with love
for the girl I love to shock. I heart

My future wife, Mrs. Janielle Keegan
(sigh). Wait...I'm getting ahead of
myself. Years of friendship, mixed in
with two catty fights, drunken nights,
sob-fests, horrid haircuts, learning
laundry together at twenty-two, broken
hearts, pulled muscles and fractured
bones, late-night ice cream runs,
falling down in gutters, and most
importantly, endless laughter. The
only person I know that cries at
commercials as easily as I do. She
constantly provides me with a shoulder
to lean on, makes sure I take my
medicine and that I am getting enough
sleep. I am uncertain as to what I
would do without her here let alone
without her in my life. She is my
partner in crime and my best friend.
My mom said it best, "Lindsey,I'm not
going to like any future boyfriend as
much as I like Janielle. She's a tough
act to follow."

Things that happened the day Janielle
and I met. 1) Exited a major freeway
off an on-ramp 2) Bought $100+ dollars
of champagne 3) Drank said champagne 4)
Drunk said champagne 5) Danced in the
lobby of the Ritz 6)"Mr. Brubaker" (me)
told bellhop my pregnant (obviously
drunk) wife needed her rest. 7)Slept
together like true husband and wife --
on opposite sides of the bed.
No, really Janielle has been such a
partner in crime ever since I met her.
She and I (and J Timberlake) have gone
on so many adventures and had such good
times. I can't remember the last time
I met someone and just clicked the way
she and I did. Never a dull moment
with this girl, and I wouldn't have it
any other way.

I met Janielle a few years ago in
Newport and instantly I was intrigued
by her. Ever since that day I have
asked her to marry me and I am always
met with an emphatic no! Her laugh is
contagious, and believe me you'll hear
it in your sleep...did I mention that
not only is she funny as hell, she's
beautiful. She's going to kill me, but
I love her most at her weakest and yes
she is even capable of crying believe
it or not. To be fair, she too has seen
me at my weakest and takes me as I am.
Janielle's passionate, she'll argue
until she's blue in the face. Few
probably realize how simple and down to
earth she is, I've always thought of it
as elegance. She notices the mountains
and the clouds and she loves the
sunshine on her face and watching the
ocean (even though she's afraid of the
water). I just can't say enough about
her. You want her in your life, she's
the real thing. Word to the wise, never
tell her that you love her, she'll run!

There is no such thing as a dull moment
with Janielle! She has SO much
personality, and I have always
respected the fact that she's not
afraid to be a bitch. She's not afraid
to be totally ridiculous either, I
definitely miss our crazy adventures...
all I can say is, whenever you hang out
with Janielle, you feel like you're on
a mission.

tee hee... Janielle, I miss you so
much. This girl is so fantastic. I
mean, talk about a real friend... she
is honest, caring, and more
importantly, LOYAL. She does not put
up with my crapp, and yet accepts me
for all my faults. I love you!
